"To build it right, first you must Virtual Build"

As is often the case for kiwis abroad, London became a land of opportunity. Hamish quickly landed his first full time job designing commercial joinery and some product design using VectorWorks. His employees loved his can do attitude and were priming him for a management role.
For the final year of his 4 year stay in England Hamish worked as a draftsman in an award winning architectural practice where he honed his CAD skills for architecture.

Returning to New Zealand in 2003 Hamish started his own company drafting mostly residential projects in Wanaka. At this time he switched software from VectorWorks to Archicad. Being from a building background the Virtual Building approach
of Archicad meshed perfectly with his own thinking; he mastered
the software in a matter of months!
